What's new

Why the army has become pacifist

it's more complicated than this.

afghans use religion to mentally control pak1s and stop this from retlaliating properly - victim complex

then they have infiltrated the country as refugees.

border is poorly managed and very porous.

pak1s have an inferiority complex against afghans.

and the moment u take harsh action against afghans, the sympathisers within our borders will cause a ruckus - the islamists who worship afghans and pashtuns who sympathise with them.

Yes agreed but only because there is borderline parity. Their aim with TTP is to keep Pakistan poor and underdeveloped so they don't lose the narrative. The day Pakistan shoots off into the distance and becomes prosperous they have lost. That is cultural domination.

A bit like Pakistanis when they look up to bollywood or Indian cities, these folk haven't seen the world. India is an incredibly low yardstick in comparison to the west and nothing to be impressed about but yet people are still impressionable.

KPK needs a megacity, a very developed one and I don't understand why they don't have one yet. Each province should have a Karachi like city.

I somewhat agree.

TTP's real purpose is just sustained destablisation and prevent any meaninful developments, as are the purpose of all groups India funds. Hence they are actually successful. Prevent economic growth and social cohesion.

TTP members themselves are too stupid to realise this, for them it's small time extortion benefits or brainwashed fighting for God.

Peshawar should be transformed into a megacity equivalent to Karachi/Islamabad.

Brave to India their RAW is very capable. The name gave it way tbh, research and analysis wing, clear cut goal. Research and analysing constantly, looking for ways to pursue their interest. They know what theyre doing.

We already have provinical capitals which could be worked on.

Anyways Military, being a part of this society, is impacted in the same way as the society from the manipulative role of social media. Social media has been ‘weaponized’ as a tool of hybrid warfare by the enemy states and enemy also employ modern techniques and divisive tactics using social media in modern times. Militaries and security setups need to do a lot to avert these threats. In the best interest of the country, it is important to use the social media in a positive way and neutralize the manipulative or negative impact of social media.

Social media can also have negative effects on individuals employed in security agencies, military and other sensitive organization which include:

1. Operational Security Risks. Individuals (military/intelligence) may inadvertently reveal sensitive information about their location, movements, and activities on social media, which can be used by the adversaries to plan attacks or ambushes.

2. Cybersecurity Risks. Selected persons may be targeted with malware or other cyber attacks through social media, which can compromise the security of military networks and systems, especially when its known that an operation is in progress and data exchange is occurring continuously in certain sectors.

3. Distraction from Mission. Individuals may become distracted from their mission by spending too much time on social media, which can reduce their effectiveness and increase the risk of injury or death. Its affects an individual (officer/soldier) psychologically. Most covert missions succeed based on their secrecy in many domains (units allotted/weapons in that theater of war/ high ranking officials in area)

4. Psychological Risks. Individuals may be exposed to traumatic images and videos on social media, which can contribute to the development of conditions such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Its interlinked with above factor but has different consequences on individual level.

5. Spread of Misinformation. Military persons may be exposed to misinformation on social media, which can lead to confusion and mistrust, and negatively affect their decision making. This is very common nowadays.

6. Risk to Privacy. Soldiers may share personal information on social media, which can put them at the risk of being targeted by adversaries or stalkers.

7. Temptation to Share Sensitive Information. Soldiers may be tempted to share sensitive information on social media, which can put their unit and mission at risk. PK resists this temptation

The above are just to name a few.

Following are the negative effects of news in media and social media when the news from Military comes out regarding its operations, causalities, terrorists killed, targets achieved, progress made etc :

1. Propaganda and Disinformation. Social media is used to spread disinformation, misinformation, half-truths and extremist ideologies by various actors such as individuals, extremist groups, and insurgent organizations, etc. These elements use social media to disseminate propaganda and false information to manipulate public opinion and shape the discourse around sensitive national issues. This can undermine public trust in institutions and create divisions within communities. Fake news is the biggest challenge the modern digital society is facing.

2. Shaping Public Opinion. Social media is a very effective tool to shape public opinion which could be used positively to develop consensus on national issues but unfortunately, this is mostly being used by malicious elements to shape public opinion against government and other national institutions, including military. Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and their use in "deep fake" has made it nearly impossible to detect fake videos and audios by common available means.

We have seen this negative image building campaigns during Military's operations around the western border areas and even polio vaccination drives.

3. Mobilization and Recruitment.
Social media has also been used to mobilize and recruit individuals for various causes, including extremist groups and insurgent organizations. Social media platforms provide an easy and effective way for these groups to reach a large audience and to identify and target potential recruits.

4. Citizen Journalism. Social media has also provided an avenue for citizen journalists and activists. In some cases, this can be helpful to bring quick information and contribute towards a more informed citizenry, but authenticity and reliability of such news is always an issue. On PDF, its the birth of a thread based on only 1 tweet and 20 tweets means 20 more threads.

5. Polarization. Social media has increased polarization in the society by allowing like-minded individuals to find and reinforce each other's views, creating filter bubbles and echo chambers that further reinforce the existing beliefs. This can lead to increased hostility and reduced tolerance in the society. The reason why members leave PDF , e.g. Irfan Baloch as recent example since the division becomes too high to handle and two formidable sides spring up.
Ha, haha, hahahahahha.

This reminds me of something that the Americans used to say in the Cold War. “Before you can beat the Soviet lies, you must deal with the Soviet truth”. The Soviets were telling the truth about American racism, segregation and white supremacy and the American would find it difficult to win allies outside Europe while that remained the case.

The same here, you can cry all day about Fake News on social media and you would be right, but unless you fix the plenty of accurate news which is unflattering, it is a losing prospect. Until political interference is stopped and seen to be. Until you stop arresting kids for making insulting posts on Twitter. Until you stop taking on the burden of this imported Government. Until, in short, the enemies truth stops being true.

There is something seriously wrong with the army, and it is not the money or the cause. It appears that the army has been hijacked by imposters posing as Muslims, slowly killing this country.

When have pak army been any good against india? And if these coward generals couldnt beat vegetarian army of india, what makes u think they can beat afghans?
Pak army is only good at beating and killing their own civilians, they have never been able to face any enemy. Oh yeah they r also good at making songs n **** videos.

It's Imran Khan. He told the army not to retaliate and because they care deeply for him, they are not retaliating.
Agree. Imran Khan has installed fear in them so now they can't "perform"

Fear is the number one reason for lack of performance followed by vascular disease, Smoking etc

Pakistans top enemies in order:

1) India: the head of the snake. Behind every threat to Pakistan is india. Behind every issue is India.
2) Pakistani Elites: whether it be from establishment or politicians, these dollarkhor munafiqs work with the enemy and destroy the country for their personal gains. Whether it’s making alliances with terrorist groups or taking funding from india, using religion card for their personal gains and, spreading fitna in society, these scums are the reason the state is in such a miserable state.
3) TTP: these terrorists have the blood of more Pakistanis than all of indo Pak wars combined. These jahils fasadis are a mix of Pashtun nationlism with their khawarijism and take funding from kufr india to kill Muslims. They make secret alliances with Taghut rulers and focus their energy on killing innocents. They make alliances with secular communist groups like bla. These khawarij are the favourite mercenaries of kufr yet they have the audacity to claim they’re bringing Shariah.
4) Iran: Iranians have working alliance with many Baloch terrorist groups to attack Pakistan. In exchange those terrorist groups help Iran against Jaish ul Adl and other groups in Iran. Many Jaish ul Adl leaders even call BLA/BLF as IRGC in disguise. Iranians are our regional rival as we have opposing interests. They will never allow Gwadar or Balochistan be in peace. They will always be a cancer in the region. Once they have nukes Pakistan will be put in a very tug position. Iran isn’t an open enemy of Pakistan but a hidden snake waiting to strike at the right moment. IRGC is at the head of this. IRGC is religiously motivated against us just as much as BJP is. They’re two sides of the same coin.
4) Baloch terrorist groups: these terrorist groups cannot survive without foreign help so they’re lower down on the list of threats. If you take out their maters they’ll bow automatically. Nevertheless, these scums have more blood of innocent Baloch on their hands than anyone else, even beating Iranians. If Balochistan is to progress, this cancer must be put in its place.
5) Etho Nationalists/Secularists/Liberals/Mullahs :
These scums are just waiting for the right time to strike.
6) Rouge IEA elements: they aren’t that much of an issue if Pakistan uses its leverage on IEA right.

I would put our elites/leaders above India

As long as we have loyal (to Pakistan), competent and honest people leading us - all other perceived threats can be addressed & countered with the available resources.

But without the above, everything crumbles, small threats become big, big threats become colossal.

I go by who’s holding whose leash.
Pakistani elite are not worthy of being our top enemy. Pakistani elite have the aukaat of slaves and they’re just dogs of other powers. India holds the leash of our elite that’s why it’s on top. Pakistani elite are not smart enough to be the top enemy of Pakistan alone. Pakistani elite are like prostitutes, they’re always up for sale to the highest bidder. They will never act independently and always be one someone else’s leash.

Pakistani elite are stray dogs and their leash handlers change all the time, sometimes India takes them on a walk, sometimes Amreka, sometimes the Joows.

But they have the keys to our entire nation - which makes them being compromised the biggest threat.

We can only truly tackle our enemy if we ourselves are being lead by people who have a desire to do so, and who are competent
