What's new

India again asks Pakistan to waive off the fee for pilgrims

Yeah that's why they should pay.
Yes. They should. 20 dollars is very reasonable.

Because Pakistan never properly played khalistani game yet with bharti terrorists. In late Zia era it was started but during benazir era, it was given up in hope of peace.
It is always doomed. Sikhs hate us. Some of them collaborate with you for tactical reasons. Don't expect a strategic alliance. Remember, they were the only group to totally cleanse a territory from Muslims during partition. No other Indian state saw a total Muslim exodus except east Punjab.

Great move by the concerned Indian authorities. Pakistan should/will not impose zero fees and India will not allow any fees. This way Kartarpur corridor remains a dream.
Now the ball is in Pakistan's court.

seems like due to this master stroke by PMIK and stick to it after indian govt war mongering indians are playing other games to halt this so that sikh cannt come there for religious purpose.

Indians are so cheap in bikhariyon k pass 20$ b nae he or batein suno bhangiyon ki:disagree:

indian govt can buy weapons worth billions while the common Indians dying of hunger with no toilets.

what a shame......

typical indian mentality, They want the world for free.
Indian cheapness is legendary.

If anything, even Sikhs are saying its fine, but hindutva don't want Sikhs to go to their holy sites so they are playing games.

Its not about that. Considering Pakistan is an unstable and particularly hostile towards India it wont make sense for Indian government to allow any Indian citizen irrespective of religion to visit Pakistan. Who will take the responsibility if any mishap occurs?
Its in best interest of India to abandon this project while its in best interests of Pakistan to allow Indian citizens. Don't see it through emotional lense.

India's demands included
  1. non application of Pakistani law at shrine and international law
  2. permanent office of Indian consul at premises
  3. No entry fee
  4. No visa
  5. Daily 5000 pilgrims
I hope Pakistan has not agreed with other items .. Pakistan has a history of the selling itself so cheap even from a strong position... I am afraid our foreign office babus will make this place a no go area for Pakistani citizens ..
They ae basically annexing this part into India?

Increase it to 50$ and provide better facilities for pilgrims. Set a good example.

Yes, your points make sense..... in a fascist country.
America doesn't even stop its people from going to North Korea so who are Hindutva to tell Sikhs to not go to Pakistan?

Don't pretend to care about Sikhs, as you are not above invading their holy places and doing a little genocide against them.

Also, if you truly believe that then why did you guys agree to the corridor?
you also build roads on your side, why?

Finally, IK offered you peace but you spat in his face. You have no one to blame but yourself for having a hostile neighbor.

Once someone wise said:

'Besharam aadmi tumharey baap ka paisa hai jo bhool jaayien gey"

:D

This isnt about money, it is an attempt to put hurdles in the opening of the Kartarpur by Indian planners. 20USD is not gonna deprive people of their fortune so they would go bankrupt. Various temples and other historical places of worship have a fee why there should be an exception here?
