Military announces transfers of 10 Lt Gens including ISI chief, DG Rangers

RIP... It's like NS pulling strings via COAS. Well first thing bajwa did was to remove 10 Corps Commander as they don't go along together, now he's in JS.
The only wise choice he made is appointing Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar as DG ISI.

Good luck to all!! :pakistan:

But wtf 10 in 1 move.

Well some of the postings does not make any sense but let's hope that all go well for the country.

General Sattar = II CORPS.
Lt General Bilal Akbar has been given most important position that is of Chief of General Staff and as for DG ISI he has massive experience against terrorism as former DG Counter Terrorism in ISI. So great choices

And Here comes the Conspiracy theories

People before you start pointing fingers ,even before they got there jobs
Please do tell me one thing how many of know these men personally,
And how many of you have any proofs that they are involved in Corruption
Please share your proofs if yoh dont than shut your pie hole why because same stuff was going on with Raheel was announced

And if these people are so bad your super star G raheel would have sacked them and would have started a coup

These are no conspiracy theories Nawaz and has family has looted billions and billions of money from this country. So no conspiracy here and Raheel Shareef didn't did coup because he was trying to follow the law which nobody liked but sadly as our people elect these corrupt thugs so Raheel Shareef also had limits.

Why are the changes even required ?
Its not like a new govt is coming to power.

Some of you need to get your heads checked, honestly.

Don't know most of these generals but the new DG ISI is solid.

Bismillah ir Rahman ar Raheem

"Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement announced that Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar was appointed as DG ISI. He will replace Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar who has been posted as President National Defence University (NDU).

Lt Gen Bilal Akbar has been appointed Chief of General Staff (CGS). The new CGS comes with a vast experience of dealing with internal security matters. Though his focus or responsibility as DG Rangers was Karachi, the transfer of Gen Bilal Akbar indicates the new COAS would like to give priority to internal security." (Dawn News 12/12/2016)

From Wikipedia:
"Naveed Mukhtar is a graduate of the Command and Staff College in Quetta, National Defense University, Islamabad (NDU) and the prestigious United States Army War College, Pennsylvania, USA. At the US Army War College, Mukhtar authored a strategy research project report titled ‘Afghanistan - Alternative Futures and their Implications’ in fulfillment of the requirements of the Master in Strategic Studies Degree."

"Rizwan Akhtar is a graduate of the Command and Staff College in Quetta, National Defense University, Islamabad (NDU) and United States Army War College, Pennsylvania, USA. At the US Army War College, Akhtar authored a strategy research project report titled ‘US-Pakistan trust deficit and the war on terror’ in fulfillment of the requirements of the Master in Strategic Studies Degree."

So, if the new CGS's appointment shows emphasis being shifted to internal security -

What would that tell us about the change in Rizwan Akhtar's ‘US-Pakistan trust deficit and the war on terror’ to Naveed Mukhtar's ‘Afghanistan - Alternative Futures and their Implications’?

Man Behind Karachi Operation Lt. Gen Naved Mukhtar, appointed as DG ISI.

Hoping he will take it to its conclusion by not only eliminating MQM but use covert operations to take out ugly sitting in London. Also, there is things like 'Sindhu Desh', 'Baluch movement' etc. And the systematic cleansing in Karachi may come in useful dealing with TTP as well.

May Allah guide our leaders in doing the best for Islam and Muslims. Aaameen.

What CGS have to do with ops in Karachi??? Please elaborate.

Chief of General Staff, shortly abbreviated as CGS, is the most coveted position within the Pakistan Army. Although four-star Chief of Army Staff (COAS) is the nominal head of the land forces, CGS is the operational and intelligence lead of the institution. It is headed by a three-star lieutenant general.Traditionally, the selection for COAS or Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) has a preference for Chief of General Staff posting. The last 13 four-star army generals had eight officers who did a tenure as CGS. Out of five who didn't, Pervez Musharraf and Ashfaq Parvez Kayani stayed as Director General of Military Operation (DGMO) and Ehsan ul Haq stayed as Director General of Military Intelligence (DGMI), all two-star postings under the CGS.The current CGS is Lt Gen Bilal Akbar since 11 December 2016

But, strange choice!!!!! Gen B Akbar is quite junior i.e. last in the seniority list of all Lt Generals!!!!!!!

What about prior news of Gen Amer Riaz as CGS?? Who released that news????

Sarfraz Sattar was expected CGS. I guess that required chemistry between CGS and DG ISI favored Bilal Akbar. Two main leads of Karachi OPs are taking two most key positions. As far as, Rizwan Aslam is concerned, his fate was written before RS's retirement.

Sir miyan sabh na full game banna li hai! Khaa pee keh jeddah aur agli warri phir zardari!

Sir I am not sure about Zardari as its Pakistan anything can happen but one thing is sure the new army chief is a stooge and he is going to reverse everything, lets hope he never get a chance to complete his tenure ... Really sad to see all these developments

I just watched Field Marshal Najam Sethi's program on Nov 28th, 29th 2016 and shocked his "Do and Don't for new coas" are exactly being followed
