BBC Urdu and VOA have initiated a Propaganda war against Pakistan and Pakistan Army.

BBC Urdu is posting Biased and factually false posts on their Facebook page they are using PTM as an excuse to malign Pakistan and Pakistani Army. I have noticed that every day they posts two to three articles on PTM and they are liking the comments made by PTM Supporters and they like those comments which are against Pakistan. They are also liking those comments which are Racist in nature (e.g words like Kalai, Daal Khoor, Lumber No etc used for Punjabi ethnicity).

I request you to please report the complaint on BBC page and lodge your protest at least do your Part

Thank you, Gen Mush, for giving in to more Western demands than they even expected --- and opening up the media without thinking about national security.

Lets focus on the real enemy here and not indulge ourselves in finger pointing. Kindly lodge complains against BBC Urdu articles on BBC Page link provided up.

Here I am posting some recent BBC Urdu articles on PTM coverage.

I hate facebook as much as you do & its been 3 months since i deactivated my account & deleted fb&messenger Apps but banning anything is not a solution to a problem in a Democratic society. They will use this as excuse to do more propaganda against the state internationally & people will picture Pakistan as Iran like oppressive society which we're not right now so... the best solution is to counter them with facts on their own platforms. That is the way to go forward...anything else will result in our defeat so don't fall in to this trap because that's all what they want... They provoke us | we ban them | Media becomes victim of "oppressive" society | They get attention | They win

Anti Pakistan rhetoric is in high demand by a dihati neighbour anyways.
Facebook, Twitter are biggest propaganda tools - should be banned immediately and permanently to save Public from venom being spread throw these platform. These sites are waste of time, resources and unnecessary tension anyway.

Oh please. Incompetence and short sightedness should be highlighted. External enemies are doings exactly what they're supposed to be doing while the pot-bellied generals are more interested in golfing and taking selfies with their fans.

Banning isn't the answer. Neither are these complaints - as if bbc/voa/twitter/facebook give a turd about what Pakistanis think. Why are you online warriors wasting your time with stuff that is the responsibility of The Establishment to address?

To get a good dopamine high.

After doing their jobs, they will open a youtube bollywood song and wait for next target to get another dopamine hit.

Makes me wonder what has been keeping Pakistan safe in presence of these armchair warriors.

You shot yourself in the foot by allowing a political party based on ethnic lines to compete in elections. The moment they came out in the public you should have wiped them out including their families. No space for ethnic politics in a volatile country like Pakistan.

While Mushy should be taken to task for his need to appear all moderate and stuff, his opening of the media isn't the problem per se. What is the problem is that the amateurs at ghq/ispr have no clue about how to use the modern modes of media to their advantage. Media is just a tool, either use it to your advantage or have it be used against you. But the geniuses over at ghq/mofa have no clue as to how to engage and communicate properly. They're still stuck in 1960s level propaganda and they have huge egos that vitiate against any forward-looking reform or strategy in strategic communications. Until then we're stuck with the amateurs over at ISPR.

Having a social media cell is a necessity. But their venting should be against the establishment for letting them and the people of Pakistan down at every turn. See the release of a ptm propagandist.

Someone gets it. However the only volatility that ethnic party is capable of is on twitter. They're not the threat that people make them out to be in excusing lack of action against them.

What do you think we i.e. the general populace aka awaam should be doing in these circumstances? Ignoring SM, reporting news etc are one step, what else? Any suggestions?

bbc is the mouthpiece of britain and they are no longer taken seriously here in britain, invertedly the voa is a mouthpiece for its country.

Its simple all english dailies dawn, express etc write against the state with opinion articles from known zealots based in america. There is NO english language channel that is as big as say RT, lying jazeera and the newly rising TRT. If you want to fight their propaganda then show the world Pakistani narrative. even the local language news is nothing more than phand stage show at best.

To fight this menace you need to get onboard the media bandwagon. bbc, voa are filling a void that exists due to laziness of the state. if you think bbc, and voa are going to stop then they are not!! They have alot riding on ptm and they will back them till the very end.

The only thing to be done is keep yourself informed. Recognize that this is propaganda by bbc/voa/etc. and respond with facts when such propaganda arises. But the responsibility to apprehend, prosecute, and punish those engaging, participating, and amplifying such propaganda is the job of the govt. But the state is impotent on these matters and has ready-made excuses available. It thinks twitter trends responding to twitter trends is the answer.

yes, come over to the dark side and be ready to have yourself called an indian agent.

you expect FIA or agri dept to do anything? Do they even have the capability? The want?Countless times have people pointed out afghanistani refugee students engaging in anti-Pak activities yet nothing has been done.

The simple thing to do is trace all those engaging in anti-Pak activities online. And then prosecute them to the full extent of the law. But this has been the solution since the beginning and yet you're going to ample excuses for not doing anything, ranging from state should be like a mother to we don't want to have a reaction....
