Strike package of PAF F-16 - Fear Factor

You are right, Basically it was a Self Embarrassment Test. Which you guys pass successfully. So, congrat from me.

Keep it up.
As long as you guys are happy, Im happy.

There would be many many more such self tests done by India(GoI), till such time as we succeed. So you will definitely get more happiness from this in times to come.

And yet, I would not have it any other way. I would want such efforts to continue. Much like how we failed a dozen times in our bid to create a cryogenic engine before we were finally successful

So you think the spine contains a fuel tank.:lol::lol: indeed.
i was mistakenly talking about the the two fuel tank on upper fuselage.

but the part on spine is
Dorsal Avionics Compartment
All two-seat models of the Advanced Block 50/52 have a distinctive dorsal avionics compartment that allows these aircraft to accommodate all of the systems of the single-seat model as well as some special mission equipment and additional chaff/flare dispensers.

I was looking a program few years back where a retired PAF higher official said on TV that PAF Mirages and IAF SU30 are just having difference of 19 20. though he did not provide details but this clearly makes PAF f16 a clear winner against su30 as we know that even JFT is better than Mirages and f16 is even better than JFT

mate he must be saying that about our mirage 3 and their mig 21 bison not su 30 or he might be comparing mirage 2000 with su 30.because otherwise it don't make sense and it is impossible for a senior paf official to give such statements.

@Windjammer Bhai why we are going for LANTRIN Pod instead of Sniper. Although it's effective but still its a legacy system whereas Sniper incorporates new technology and better subsystems. Decision is taken due to availability, experience, cost or is their some other issue ???

The reaction of Pakistanis is very desperate since they know they have no other fighters they can acquire immediately. We all know the SU35 drama on this forum and the chest thumping and the umpteen fake sales of the JF17.

India is raising a voice since it can afford to..couple that with the negative opinion the American people have on Pakistan, there is always a chance it will be heard.

As usual the Pakistani bravado will always make them celebrate before any confirmation, we've know seen it a dozen time with the SU35 sales and multiple JF17 export sales.

The least you can do is wait for the 8 to land home, else its dejavu all over again..

Nigeria and Myanmar Export orders are confirmed :D

16 JF-17 are sold for $560 Million and Nigeria initially set $25 million in their budget to get 3 JF-17.....

Qatar Gov called JF-17 and Mushaq specially for the Evaluation
so please do some research before ranting anything :D :D

You'll see JF-17 Flying in Myanmar in 2017 :D

Apne Tejas ki fikar kro jise IAF bhi ni khareed rhi :D :D

Pakistani's are ever eager to glorify themselves. And we can always trust them to miss the forest for the woods.

India's unprecedented actions against an impending sale of F-16's is not about F-16's at all. Pakistani Airforce today stands as a joke in front of the IAF in terms of weapons capability, technology and numbers. 8 F-16's don't even change an iota of that.

Its about how today India has unprecedented global clout compared to its past - this is in effect a test for the Govt of India. Does India have enough global clout now to change the course of international action?

Its a yes/no answer. If no, then we would have a credible assessment of what India can not manage and where do we need to invest more - to attain more clout. If yes, then we would have a credible assessment of what we can manage.

Basically it is a self assessment test.

India tried all the tooth and nail to stop this deal. But couldn't.

Instead of wasting millions of USD for lobbying and buying the congressmen, maybe India should've spent that monies on it's own betterment.

That should tell you more about the 'clout of India' in the present scenario.

Pakistani advising India on how better to spend our money.. :)

Maybe Pakistan should stop sending so much money on harboring snakes, hows that for an advice? :P

See, that's the bit 13 year old Indian kids with brains of 7 year olds, cannot understand.

India has been crying about these 'snakes' for the past many decades. The funny thing is, Pakistan still gets what it wants on the international scene. The f-16s are coming in to kill such snakes, but also any adventurous Indians.
Maybe PM Modi is actually smarter than the average dumb Indian. He understands that war is no longer an option no matter how many chests get thumped in India.
But the ignorant ones like you will come here to make posts so you can broadcast your foolishness for the whole world to witness.

I expect a follow on order for the block 52's plus a squadron of MLU f16's. With the amount of F16's retiring around
the world pakistan could build an inventory of 150 easily. with 200 or so JFT's we can actually match the IAF in numbers too
who will have 270 mkis, 50 m2k, 50 m29's + 36 rafale (the rest in their inventory is all junk anyway).
