Many in the former Soviet Central Asia, too, would like to restore the Soviet Union. While in the West of Soviet Union socialism was replaced by capitalism, in the south - almost feudalism.

yes, central asia is a major part in the military alliance "sco" and in the new "eurasian economic union".

No thank you.

As long as our culture can survive on beef, milk, sun dried salted meatballs, date fruit, vegetables, home grown wheat and AK-47s with a few hundred million 7.62mm rounds,
Hey, you've been peeking in my basement! :woot:

Hey, you've been peeking in my basement! :woot:

you have "AK-47s with a few hundred million 7.62mm rounds,"??

so, once usa has a "red dawn" or "green dawn", the incoming liberators will know that "desert falcon" is one house they must visit to remove a potential deadly enemy... :D

Why would anyone who is opposed to imperialism want to restore the largest empire in history? :o:Certainly not the Poles, eastern Germans, Hungarians, Czechs, Slovaks, Romanians, Lithuanians, Estonians, etc., etc.

Why do you think so? Do you think they like to be the backyard of your empire? You made them almost slaves, like negroes, who have no jobs at home and have go to clean toilets in the West. You took away their dignity, replacing it with a cheap propaganda about "democracy" and "human rights."

Maybe not that that many rounds, but pretty close. :sniper:

Well, they can try. Fortunately, it is not just me they will have to contend with...

Any attempt to invade America will make the Soviet experience in Afghanistan look like a little girl's tea party. :agree:

You really live in a dream world, don't you? You really think that people like the Poles or Czechs want to go back under Soviet rule? Dude, I have travelled to those countries and they despise Russians! Secondly, countries like Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Baltic States have much, much, better economies and way of life today than they did under communism. Are you seriously unaware of that fact? It's is just mind boggling, if you truly are!?!

Russophobia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The Economy of Poland is the sixth-largest in the EU and the largest among the ex-communist members of the European Union. Before the late 2000's recession its economy grew a yearly growth rate of over 6.0%. According to the Central Statistical Office of Poland, in 2010 the Polish economic growth rate was 3.9%, which was one of the best results in Europe."

"Of the countries in central and eastern Europe, the Czech Republic has one of the most developed industrialized economies. It is one of the most stable and prosperous of the post-Communist states of Central and Eastern Europe. GDP per capita at purchasing power parity was $27,100 in 2011, which is 85% of the EU average."

"The collapse of the Communist regime regime in 1989, reforms in the 2000s (decade) and its 2007 ascension to the European Union have led to an improved economic outlook.
Romania has experienced growth in foreign investment with a cumulative FDI totaling more than $170 billion since 1989.

Up until the late 2000's financial crisis, the Romanian economy has been referred to as a "Tiger" due to its high growth rates and rapid development."

Just a brief perusal online.

that is quite a lot of guns... and the article is technically right that india and china are the next most populous in terms of guns... but those are owned by the military... and if i can be naughty, despite the huge number of guns, india would need help of usa in case india is invaded by china.. ;) but having said that, i will go back to the anti-nationalist unified-humanity thread of this thread.

by the way, libyan jamahiriya also had "gun ownership is a right"... which is why after the initial numbness after the 2011 nato ( and proxy ) invasion, the libyans are fighting back... in the cities and from the deserts.

also, does usa have a unifying ideology for every citizen to happily defend that nation?? would the occupy movement people defend usa or ally with the invading liberators... just an exercise of mind??

Secondly, countries like Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Baltic States have much, much, better economies and way of life today than they did under communism.

why are you talking of "better economies" in 2014??

in greece, socialist guerillas are bombing capitalist multinational companies... and "russia today" reported a portuguese "economic" immigrant lady to usa, who worked in four jobs simultaneously, dying in her car, or maybe committing suicide because of her horrible life... and you speak of "better economies"...

The difference between Western Europe and Eastern Europe is not decreasing, but increasing. Eastern Europe has become more beautiful on the outside but inside it is rotten. In countries such as Bulgaria and Romania, as well as in the Baltic States is now not everyone can afford even a doctor. They are dying out at a frantic pace, faster than during WW2.
Some of them do not like Russian - mostly because of your propaganda. If the tap of propaganda close, then everything will fall into place.
By the way, maybe they you did not say to you, but in Europe, America is not loved more than Russia. This is especially true of cultural people, not consumers.

There are certainly Americans who are uncomfortable with the widespread gun ownership in my culture, but they are a minority. In any event, it is a constitutional right and is vigorously defended. The "Occupy" folks are a very small minority of Americans. Lot's of bored college kids looking for a cause. Most Americans are staunch patriots and they would most certainly defend our mother country and their liberty with weapons. Where I live, almost everyone has not only hunting weapons, but assault rifles and handguns. I mostly have hunting rifles and shotguns but I also own a couple of assault rifles and several handguns and am licensed by my state to carry a concealed handgun anywhere in public. Btw, this is me :D sighting in a hunting rifle...

"In the wake of its military intervention in Ukraine and annexation of Crimea, Russia is widely disliked in Europe, the Middle East and the United States, according to a Pew Global Attitudes poll released on Wednesday."

And of course, that deep negative opinion is due to the last time that Russia had an empire under the Soviet Union. People remember.

Compared to European opinion of America...

In the last several years, only Russia and Greece have had a less than 50+% negative opinion of the USA.

in my view, they are the best americans, plus all the ladies :-)

well, nobody can miss the supreme flag-waving aggressive jingoism of mainstream hollywood films and mainstream usa... but if outside people brought them promises of a happier life where they wouldn't have to do salaried jobs or run about mortgaging houses... would they still defend the usa system??

even elon musk is not in line with "the american way"... he hasn't put spacex on the stock market, as far as i know... and he doesn't have "a business plan" for mars... so usa is not one single kind of people.

hunting?? what?? dirty wolves or something else??

by the way, i have seen video or picture of dragunov sniper rifle being tested on a range, i think.

Never gonna happen.

1. why??

2. you quote iqbal is in your signature... what do you think is his opinion on political systems??

why are you talking of "better economies" in 2014??
Who was talking about Greece or Russia's economy? The issue was the former Soviet controlled economies like Poland's, the Czech Republics, the Baltic states, Hungary's, etc.

Every country was hit hard by the 'Great Recession' that started in 2007 and Greece is it's own special basket-case, economically, but the economies of the former Soviet block states and their way of life is still, MUCH better now than it was under Russia's tyrannical rule.

Military intervention in the Crimea? What are you talking about? Russian troops are in the Crimea since 1776.
Current elite of Eastern Europe - it's either the Communists or the children of Communists. When America withdraw its troops from Europe, they will begin to talk about the horrors of the American occupation. In Eastern Europe, not so many nations with their own identity. This Hungarians (they do not like the West and trying to get out from your occupation), the Serbs - you know, what Serbs are thinking about Russian. Poles are like bitches - they love to sleep with top guy.
All the rest - they are like a weathercock, have no opinion, just adapting.
About figures of social polls is better not to write at all - it's like the propaganda department at the City Party Committee. They will give the results that they are ordered to give.
