Tipu Sultan, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's lives to be turned into world class productions: Fawad Chaudhry

but we are only country at the face of earth who's people dont consider their local heroes as hero instead whoever came from out side no matter he is turk or afghan or iranian we consider them hero
you do realize that during delhi sultanate a lot of Afghans Turks settled here? their descendants will no doubt consider them as heroes. also, during the time of Mughals a lot of turks and iranians settled here, and during the reign of Ahmad shah Abdali a lot of Afghans again settled here. they are bound to have left some descendants here, or even intermarried here. so just because they are not Punabi, they should not be proud of their ancestors?

most probably because he used Masajid as stables, banned Azaan, used to punish over slaughtering cows and suppressed Muslims, living in this land, in general?

and your part of story has came out from a book called ‘’ Tareekh e Lahore" which was written by kanahiya lal who was a hindu. otherwise if you have any other authentic reference please pass on i would love to read it

i would say that that book is an unbiased account, seeing that the author is a Hindu. whereas, your part of the story obviously revolves around praising non-muslims just because they used to speak the same language. May Allah raise us with those who we associate ourselves with.

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was the pride of the Gangetic plain

Ghaznavi and Ghori are Turks from Afghanistan....better would be to celebrate Abdus Salaam

First PTI posts Hindu movie clips on instagram...and now they are making movies on Gangetic stalwarts......PTI doesnot represent the Indus anymore
Your entire country is named after a Pakistani river, so please shut up, it will take 1000000 times more obsession before we reach a fraction of your level.

Unfortunately Pakistani film industry only produces Sass Bahu dramas and cheap boy meets girl plots. And our leftist media will never produce a movie celebrating Muslim heroes.
Our film industry doesn't have people of those caliber who can do justice to these philosophers and scientists. GoP should take responsibility of these documentaries.

dear brother that does not mean they all came and settled here and no body went back ... even if some of them does so their number in population was not significant... british also ruled this land for a long long time how many of them have become indians? or how many of our Christians community among us connect them with foreigners? and muslim history is not as brilliant as we study in books otherwise rest of entire world know what Akabar was ....

yeah, this is not like the british. the british never settled here, they ruled through civil servants who were transferred out on a regular basis. mughals, afghans, turks etc actually settled here with their entire families and tribes. british monarch never settled in delhi, or raise his/her family here, whereas the others did, generations upon generations born here, inter married here.

Yes, all that matters is who he allied with. Yes, so he didn't fight against a colonial empire at all. Silly me. Cornwallis, that noble gangetic, led the native resistance against evil foreign leaning Tipu.

Seriously, wtf is wrong with the mental capabilities of your entire species?

You literally spit upon your own historical figures as soon as their "muslimness" is mentioned or if any Pakistani appreciates said figure. This is a disease of the mind that you "secular" people have.

Refer to an earlier post I made regarding what you might do if a Pakistani says something useful for your nation. Keep doing the polar opposite. We laugh ourselves to sleep at you cretins.
These ppl conveniently forget how Tipu Sultan had no choice but to ally with France. If we put ourselves in his shoes...and look at the dire situation Tipu was in...with the British becoming increasingly powerful, tightening their grip, and colluding with other rulers like Nizams...of course it would make strategic sense to ally with an enemy of ur enemy(namely the french)...specially one that is industrialized similarly(and can provide latest weapons of war) to the British and somewhat matches them too in terms of economic/military might. His goal wasn't to handover his kingdom to France...his goal was to hold the British back or ideally kick them out. By using the French against British...it was the same play the British were playing...using one ruler against the other...all the while they amass power and the infighting makes the local rulers weaker.

These are Indian freedom fighters. It is expected you should take permission from us before making it and take our approval before release.

he went down in an accident during shooting and is pretty much out of action.
No they are not. U as a nation didn't exist then. The prior entity under the British Raj included modern day India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Additionally as @Iltutmish pointed out...ur nation is busy erasing the history of Muslim rule/rulers. So why so emotional over Tipu Sultan? As for Sir Syed Ahmad Khan...he made great efforts to educate the Muslims of the subcontinent(that's us...not u...unless u r willing to convert :azn: ). Stop pretending when it suits u.

Yeh banda jis beh ministry main jata hai kuch na kuch karta he hai dosro ke tarhan wela minister nahe

The river flows also through Northern India...and we have no problem sharing identity with Pakistan...last time I checked you guys have problems sharing identity with us

There is nothing wrong with my species, as long as we don't lead by nth century rules. Now, he fought like any other king in the country to keep his power. That's it. Despite his cunningness, lost and got killed and guess who laid siege? Soldiers of Hyderabad Nizams:enjoy: under the brits of course.

Also, Tipu is nobody's favourite unless they are some nutjob who wants to relieve his fanatic state, and people don't like him not because he was some Muslim, but he was a murderous pig and, died like a dog (what you call kuttey ki maut) as a commemoration we celebrate it by naming our dogs in his name. Tipu is a common name for dogs in South India.

We also mock his defeat when he invaded my state like this, It's a temple tower clock showing two 'goats' banging Tipu. Temple is famous, it's recently named the richest temple in the world.
PS : This has nothing to do with Muslim rather his actions that resulted in the hatred. Nobody in South India makes a fuss about Nizams though, although he had a very 'colourful' post independence history.
Pakistanis have a habit of making random Muslim kings their hero, especially the ones that have a bloody history, so it's nothing surprising I'd be surprised if some Turkish or some Iranian folks make a movie of him. Remember you hilariously named your Missile Ghauri after we named ours Prithvi😂
In general terms, Pakistani Muslims and Muslims from the region of Pakistan along with their allies have fought against Aryan Hindus and their allies for centuries. Tipu fought against Nizam's Muslims and maratha Hindus. It is irrelevant that Muslims fought against him. I don't know why you find that worthy of highlighting. Just a as loyal Hindus supported Tipu, treacherous Muslims went against him. His allies were Christian French and his enemies were Christian British.

Your entire spiel has the typical communal slant that tends to emanate from your general direction. Carry on for all I care. Tipu is recognised globally as a leader who consistently resisted colonial British expansion. The marathas did not - so sorry. The marathas sided with the British when it suited them, especially against him. You can be butthurt over your ancestors' poor decision making for the rest of your life. We on the other hand have huge respect for his consistency in pursuit of his anti-British objectives.

He lost ultimately but he didn't sacrifice his principles. How do the nizam and marathas fare in the final reckoning in this regard?

Indeed, the man himself pointed out the importance of such a virtue. Tigers, jackals etc.

Native populations the world over have done the same throughout the era of European colonialism. Who wouldn't side with a lesser threat against a bigger threat? This is simple politics. The Marathas that the forum user speaks so highly of sided with and against the same power on different occasions, which renders any claim to anti-colonialism on their part as sheer hypocrisy. Indeed, they were simply the subcontinent's opportunistic guns for hire.

Tipu remained relatively consistent and can be regarded as principled and a true anti-colonialist because the French were not significant colonisers of the subcontinent at that time - rather they were useful allies. He identified the East India Company as the real and permanent threat very early on.

Turks or not, just look at the map, Ghazni and Ghor are much closer to Pakistan than far away Mysore. Tipu has little relevance to Pakistan history.

Why not.

england is closer to pakistan than australia , so you will make a film for your masihis " richard the lionheart "
in another case according to your logic christians of pakistan should make a film " lord clive " because he defeated muslims in plassey and established english empire ?

Since you bring up the English, I think an apt analogy would be the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Britain. The Angles and Saxons brought new culture that changed Britain forever, and the invaders made Britain their new home. Similarly, men like Mahmud and Ghori brought new culture that changed Pakistan forever, and made the region of Afghanistan-Pakistan their new home.
