Imran Khan (ইমরান খান) talking about Bangladesh

Cricketers have some warped imagination of state politics.

Bangladesh will always be East Pakistan to myself, and it is unfortunate they did not get to form a government in 1970's
The feeling is the same in many of us in the East especially to those who were born before 1971. I sometimes wish things would have unfurled in a different way that would have kept a united Pakistan. I sometimes speak against current Pakistan. But, it is because I suffer to see Pakistan taking wrong steps that only undermine the process of national development.

About 1/3rd of present Poland belonged to Germany before WWll. Russia (USSR) took 1/3rd of east Poland and compensated it by arranging German land in its west. But, did post-WWll Germany rebuild its military to get back its land in Poland? No, it built its industries and infrastructures, and the country is super-rich.

I wish the Pakistani posters who happen to read this post will understand what I mean. Imran Khan is a pragmatic leader who I hope will diffuse the present warlike situation in its border and will invest the peacetime money to develop the country.

Cricketers have some warped imagination of state politics.
It is non-cricketers like you with a volatile and feeble mind who are not ready to accept the reality on the ground and living in your imagined world. Do not you see your imagined dreams have already become a bitter nightmare? How long you guys will be playing warmongering instead of building your country?

That is for us to decide alone.

I posted it to show that Imran Khan is different that other PMs of Pakistan.

And I also think that IK has something to do improve the relation with BD-PK.

And there are the elements of both love and hate for Pakistan among the Bangladeshis.

I hope that all Bangladeshis are not taken equally regarding the perception about Pakistan.

Some BD members here just want to spread hatred to establish their political agenda by maligning Pakistan and it works here unfortunately.

There is no way Pakistan can have good relationship with bd till you have chest humping hasina who glorify 71 and make his family royal of Bangla . when bangali have nothing to celebrate and no hero of fight with goras before freedom of subcontinent.
when you act like that look we got new clothes and it looks really good on us makes you looks like a fool in front of us. why so much obsession and comparison the answer is HATE which you have for Pakistan specially with this ruling family who took help from Hindu which their forefathers fought for on 2 nation theory.

The father of the current prime minister freed us fron the economic, political and cultural persecution of West Pakistan regime.

Bengalis have many things to celebrate which of course u aren't aware of. It's true for Pakistan though since it has never won a single war on its 70 yeses of history.

Just look at the mind boggling dancing that most of the Pakistanis have been doing in this forum after gunning down a single Indian aircraft and after capturing a single Pow.

Whereas we captured 93k Pow and came out as victorian of the 71 war and created our own country. And u want us not to talk about it? Lol.

We will continue to talk about our glorious moments whether u like it or not. Since Pak was the surrendered party, it will obviously find it hard to digest the victory celebration of bengalis.

Do you really read history books? Do you know how Nawab Mir Qasem Ali Khan of Bengal fought against the Goras after the Plassy until he was defeated by them in the Battle of Buxer in 1764. He fought for a long seven years and lost everything in the process. He punished the Hindu conspirators by throwing them to the river below from a Fort in Munger. He was the son-in-law of Nawab Mir Zafar Ali Khan but died a destitute in a cottage in Delhi.

Do you know also the name of Mir Titu (Titumir), Haji Shariatullah and a few others in Bengal who fought against the Goras? Do you also know that the Muslim Punjabi troops of British Punjab Regiment were used by the Goras to annihilate Sultan Tipu and Mysore?

You laugh on your own failure glad you admit its actually no body wants you, it was 1600 miles difference all four proviences accepted urdu but bangali cudnt live under one unity and yes i am glade i have no idea what you have to celebrate its cuz you dont have one to show.
capturing your own army men with the help of those who you got major issue before independence from 47 shows true color of you being alone in this believe me you as bangali living on india's mercy.
by the way we jump troll or dance in PDF who are you to tell us on Pakistani Defence Forum that we do.. you sud take your rubbish thoughts and celebrate your garbage to Bangali forum if you have one do you?

Not really sure what r u trying to say here. Who don't want us?

Secondly, we don't have any failure. Hence, no question of me laughing at our own failure.

We wanted to create a separate country for Muslims, we did that in 47. We wanted bangla to be our national language, we did that in 52. We wanted a country free form the looting and persecution of west pakistan regime, we did that in 71. Yes, we sheded a lot of blood for that but didn't stop until kicking out the occupying force out of our land by making them Surrender.

We r the example of a successful nation. After just 50 years of independence we have become the shinning beacon of Southasia that everyone wants to follow. Compared to that ur country, well let's just not go there.

Just because other provinces didn't have the gut to stand up for their right doesn't necessarily mean we should've done the same.

We take extreme pride in our culture and language. Urdu was a foreign language brought in by the foreign invaders which was spoken by a tiny percentage of total population of Pakistan. Hence, it didn't have the prestige or number of speakers to become the national language of a nation.

Bangla had a rich heritage, it was the language of majority of the people of former Pakistan. Therfore, it makes perfect sense that we made bangla as the national language of Pakistan in 52.

We didn't capture our own countrymen. We captured those Pakistanis who murdered and tortured innocent civilians.

We defeated those traitors who didn't hand over the power to the rightful elected personal and wanted to rule over us by force. We kicked out that illegal and occupying force out of our land so that they we can prosper and move ahead.

It is part of the history of Pakistan and Titumir is also taught as a religio-politico reformer.

This is also a part of our history and yours:

Agartala Conspiracy was invented and hatched by General Ayub Khan and his group. It is now supported by that Hasina Bibi of BAL to make people believe that Mujib was favoring separation long before 1971 which is not historically correct. Do you really think that any govt would not punish its citizen who commits treason? Was Mujib punished at that time? In reality, however, this Ayub conspiracy caused Mujib to become famous and his popularity to rise.

I hate bengalis, they got what they deserved

They will deserve whats coming their way too

Lol.
BD has probably the best large developing economy in the world - per capita growth is at 7% level now.
Worry about the dismal state of Pakistan economy.

Hopefully we will continue our progress and set examples for all the other lesser nations of Southasia, so that they can elevate themselves from their current miserable position by emulating our strategy.

Islam binds all muslims , Pakistan and Bangla should become allies and forget hateful past whoever did wrong either some Pakistanis did injustice to bangalis and some bangalis did treason to the country must be remembered as only history lesson not to repeated.
