India may transfer some Migs to Srilanka: Source

Too much disappointed in Srilanka, we supported them through thick and thin, gave them everything to fight LTTE and eventually defeat them, and this is how they repay us ?

No worries, we never forget betrayals.

JF-17 export to Sri Lanka will go through. Just wait and watch sir.

There is no better compliment than the one coming from your opponent. Indians have paid great tribute to JF-17. The fact that they have nothing to offer and it took them threats and offering their scrap MiGs is an acknowledgement of JF-17 in itself. We should actually be thankful to them.

Quite a big complement actually. India pitching its vintage, about to retire Mig 27 against JF-17. Time for some celebrations

no,,as of now not certain.
Iaf wants FOC+ models,,,n dpsu's have gladly claimed tht they will come up wid it,,,but IAF has made it clear tht further orders will be taken into consideration only if they r satisfied wid FOC tejas.

It will most certainly go through with extended orders. There is no way such a large manufacturing plant is made only for a token amount of birds. And especially with the current government, and the fact it's not economically feasible to replace every MIG 27 and 21 with Rafales bird by bird.

You mean comprehend like this ?

Sorry - but the required twin seat JF17 trainer is missing for the way you want us to comprehend.:D
Are you a troll, or a retard?.
Going by your screwed up logic, the F-22 Raptor is a prototype. Because it has no dual seater version.
To the JF-17, it means 66 and their prototypes, maybe @Windjammer or @TaimiKhan
Can explain you more in depth.

Tejas was supposedly pitched and Lankans threw it back at Indian face. India had to resort to threats to a smaller nation because they couldn't compete in a fair competition.

Source that MK1A has AESA? and what is current status of MK1A?

MK1A is nothing but Tejas MK1 with additions like AESA radar, EW suit etc. and also it will be much lighter.

HAL is finding it difficult to manufacture 20 Tejas as all its facilities are preoccupied with Su30 MKIs. What makes you believe India offered Sri Lanka Tejas, when it does not have space to manufacture them?

Why Lankans would induct obsolete junk in their arsenal at the cost of Thunders ?

:coffee: Hope this will stop your melodrama Mr.Think Tank !

They must have started construction and will start testing next year,no sources its my intution because hal was able construct lca navy in a year, though first flight happened after a year or so,after construction of np1 was complete.

Are you blind?or stupid ? Or both ?cant you see its clearly writtern "free of cost" in the article above.

HAL is Building a different plant to manufacture Tejas and in future Rafale

That would require some time. Now it first has to deliver the 20 aircrafts to IAF, along with the regular delivery of Su30s. No country will wait for that long to let HAL ramp up its production rate.

maybe thats what IAF wants to convey,,,we have to make do wid tejas coz sick dpsu's need to live on n govt. unable to come up wid a solution
