Pakistan And India-Water Disputes-News And Updates

I think those Indians enjoying the death of our soldiers is sadism. :coffee:

Which Indian is enjoying the death of our soldiers? There has never been so much unity in India as it is now after Uri. I would rather prefer a war with Pakistan than stopping water flowing towards Pakistan. Depriving water to poor people is cowardice. At least that is what I think.

Dude you want to link terrorism with Indus water treaty. Thanx. We also want the same.

That is why Modi said blood and water will not go together.

Its holy modi jee who failed to cash the Uri false flag and now he is desperate looking for the biggest screw up of his career....as if Gujrat was not enough....this chutya first talks of war and surgical strikes..turns the tide to talking unemployment and poverty without looking into his own collar...then wants to modify water treaty...mental asylum would be better place for such person suffering from extreme attention disorder...to show mirror to Indians..

India does not have enough storage facility to create a supply problem immediately for Pakistan.

It has to raise its dam structures and that will take time. There is also another angle to it. India, even if it wants to, cannot take the water out of Kashmir Valley.

So, the water of the three rivers (Indus, Jhelum and Chenab) will remain in their basin and India cannot divert that to other areas due to geographical reasons. India can stop the supply for some time, but cannot divert it,

We don’t necessarily need to go to the extent of scrapping the Indus Waters Treaty.
We should use the waters of western rivers of Indus basin for irrigation, electricity and storage of up to 3.6 Million Acre Feet (MAF), well within the norms laid down in the treaty, that would be as good as blowing up a "new-clear-bomb" for as such now.

Treaty permits India to irrigate 7 lakh hectare of land from western rivers.

...so you would rather see INDIAN SOLDIERS DIE in a war than see pakistani suffer some thirst.

You are truly disgusting. ............. the only coward I see is you.

We take you to the court..thats what happens!

LOL.... all the best.

Will the courts provide you with drinking water ? :P

His words don't count in front of the PM's say.

That's not how the country functions.

Too bad Omar is still under the impression that even today India works like his times.

I do not think that we would outright abrogate IWT. Reason being that it is impossible to divert Indus, and difficult to divert Jhelum.

A more simple action would be build a lot of hydroelectric dams and develop capability to control ,rather than divert, water. I have given an example of this approach in my first post on this thread.

And stop water of Ravi, Beas, and Sutlej completely.

Any idea What percent of the water flowing into Pakistan will be used ?

My dear the water treats acts as a pivot on which kashmire dispute rests on...screw up with Pakistani water supply and it has more incentive to meddle in Kashmir..today Uri..tomorrow it could get far worst...

Cool ..... so how about that 'enemity' you were threatening about ? :P had second thoughts ? or did a bucket solve that problem ?

When did I threaten you? Is saying every action has a reaction is threatening to you kid? and what is blocking water? Love? lol

Enacting the treat is different from cancelling the treat...cancelling the treat means you tear it into pieces and throw it away

Typical Indian passive aggressive mentality!

You still don't get it.

Most Indians DO NOT CARE for your threats. So feel free to threaten us  ...... we find it quite entertaining.

As for the new dam that is going to block your water, maybe you can send some terrorists to blow them up ? right up your alley too.

Nah ....I think we will disregard your advice :P

Treaty was signed in the spirit of goodwill and friendship. Unlike the rivers this spirit needs to flow from both sides.

You are talking to the same guys who disregard the Simla Agreement treaty  Do you really think you need to explain 'spirit' of any treaty to them ?

Well I can say the same vice versa. Good luck with your plans and I hope they fail as they always have.
