What's new

Pakistan might lose more water to India

Indeed that is the case. That will allow India to allocate more resources towards growing socio-economically on a trajectory beyond anybody's expectations.

So guys like Hafizzz saeed will have to start worrying then, maybe status quo actually works better to further his agenda.

The peace dividends will be for both sides, including Pakistan, and India, as you have described.

the resources must be utilised fully......thats what every country does.....even china does that on Brahmaputra...when does..why dont you call for humanity then ?? you'll say only when it happens on you...is that humanity ?

WE understand..Pakistanis don't

Many Pakistanis do, actually.

And there is a fair number of radicals on your side too, who don't!

agreed. but whats your point? we should stop all development works in india so that pakistan can prosper! It is pakistan who is objecting to infrastructure development in india not the other way round.

My point was that economic progress on both sides of the border will result in a much more peaceful and prosperous situation overall. That is all.

I don't think so we have radicals to the extent of Pakistan who are blowing themselves up in India.. our so called radicals are only limited to mere rhetoric... nothing more than that..

My humble request to pakistani members, please please please read Indus Water Treaty.

limiting our water in this fashion is analagous to an act of war against Pakistan..an existential threat

the indians should realize that and be careful about the path they tread on. Agriculture brings livelihood for tens of millions of farmers; our very existence lies on unhindered access to our fair share of water

if the indians play dirty games garbed as ''development'' -- then Pakistan should have all options on the table to deal with the problem

But the neutral observers dont think we are playing a game against pakistan. They told us to modify some things we did that and proceeded. Threatening India with war over delusional propaganda will cost Pakistan- be ready to reap the rewards of water mismanagement.
