Trying to learn Devanadgari Script...
There could be mistakes in following compilation...Those who know are welcome to correct me...

= = = = = = = = = = = = =


“Vowels”(a,e,i,o,u) that r used as such, as well as “diacritical marks”

Sound of “zaer” if accompany an alphabet…اِ =i= इ When used as diacritical mark comes before target alphabet(dotted circle) as “zaer” ि
correct=islamइस्लाम wrong=isalamइसलाम
Pakistan = correct=
पाकिस्तान wrong= पकिसतन


اِی =ee/ii = ई Also comes after target alphabet when used as diacritical mark ी
ईलह = eelah सीख = seekh


Sound of “Zabr” for an alphabet…
اَ = اً =an’/am’= अं on top of alphabet=
اه =aH= अः in front of an alphabet

Sound of “Paesh” for an alphabet…
اُ =u= उ Also comes under an alphabet as “Paesh” = تو तु
اُو =uu/oo=ऊ Also comes under an alphabet when used as diacritical mark as reverse "Paesh"= توت तूत


A different sound besides zaer, Zabr, Peesh… incurs a sound like “ے” to target alphabetاے =ae= ए Also comes on top of alphabet as one small line to incur “ے”sound= चेहरा


اےی =ai= ऐ Also comes on top of alphabet as 2 small lines to incur “ےی”sound=


ا =a= अ when alif comes in middle of word =
آ =aa= आ when alif comes in middle of word=
اَو =o= ओ when in middle of a word=
آو =au= औ when in middle=
ام = अं
اه = अः
آں = अँ e.g, आँख آﻧﮐﻬ



Now other alphabets… (Consonents)

ب = ब بادل बादल بدن बदन بازو बज़ो
ﺒﻬ = भ بهل भल

پ = प also پا प e.g, پاک पाक Pakistan पाकिस्तान پيٹ पेट
ﭘﻬ = फ پهل फल پهر फिर (For the sound of ف a dot is used under फ , फ़) Phone फ़ोन
ت = त تر तर (تربوز(تربوج correct=तरबूज़ wrong=तर्बोज़
ﭡﻬ = थ تهال थाल (تهوڑا(تهورا थवरा
ٹ =ट ٹائم टीम
ﭩﻬ =ठ ٹهيک correct=ठीक wrong=ठयक


ج = ज (ज़ = ز and ذ ) जाल جال
ﺠﻬ = झ جهگ झग جهاگ झाग
چ = च چڑى चिरय چڑيا चिड़िया ﭽﮩﺭﺍ चेहरा
ﭽﻬ =छ چهترى correct= छत्री * wrong=छतरय
د =द دوات दवात دانت दाँत دهاگا धागा
ﺪﮬ =ध دهلائى correct=धुलाई wrong=धुलाय or धवलाय
ڈ =ड ڈور डवर
ڈﻫ =ढ ڈهول ढवल
ز and ذ = ज़ زيبرا ज़ेबरा
ﺮ =र رات रात
ڑ (modified ڈ) = ड़
ﺲ =स سوئی सुई
ﺶ = श شام शाम

Did corrections in red. Not sure if I got all though, maybe still some mistakes. And I left out some words I do not know. Sorry, my Hindi/Urdu isn't great

why are you learning on PDF?
& I'm NOT only learning myself, the reason I posted it here is that other Pakistanis be able to read Hindi... It could have "defence" implications that's why...

I believe the equivalent of Dharm would be Deen in Urdu losely translated as a way of life.
 
ﭘﻬ (also used for ف) = फ پهل फल پهر(فر) फिर
For the sound of ف a dot is used under फ (फ़), because ف is from Arabic,ف (Fa) ---- फ़ा
Like Phone---- फ़ोन. Usually in prints dot disappears.

इसलाम---- isalam

इस्लाम---- islam
 
Google translation can convert roman-urdu text into devanagari hindi script.

and one thing i noticed is Urdu is written like Arabic. It starts from right to left and Hindi is like english..... starts from left to right
