Can any one explain in simple words about exact reason why PA and ISI compromized on raid?

:what: mazar or no mazar that is another thing. the point is why US was in so much hurry to throw the dead body in SEA?

where is DNA? where is pic of dead body ?

why this all hogwash ??

i say let make it public and end the this saga of OBL releasing tap after tap

You're right throwing OBL's body in the sea is a bad idea, That's what the US did to MEGATRON........AND HE STILL CAME BACK!!!

i think and believe thatit is time to FIRE GEN KIYANI AND GEN PASHA----whatever they did---helped or not----their plan back fired----they need to be shunted out---new general brought in--
In my book Kianyi has to go because he's been coup-shopping, but when was the last time civilian authority really successfully fired a military chief?

this story is fishy until pics don,t emerge

Hi,

Actually---there couldn't be a better time than this----all the pakistani nation is piss-ed of at the pak millitary---the world is against pak millitary----pak millitary has nothing going for itself---so it is indeed a great time to let them go---smack them hard----put them in their place----find a capable man----find a doer who can promise to go after the taliban and al qaeda----now is the time----to make it happen.

It would take the pressure off pakistan from world press---GEN Kiyani has lived past his expiration date and so has GEN Pasha-----they would have been a part of the plan either to keep their heads down and don't admit----.

WAS-----OBL got hit in the eye---the bullet took half of his skull and blew out the brain as well----so there is nothing left of his face---maybe half of the profile----just a gruesome picture of a deceased man-----.

He is gone----taken out on 5/1/11

This argument about the 'Pakistani establishment' knowing the whereabouts of OBL for six years is absolutely non-sense! For the hundredths time, it is not unusual for rich people to build houses in Pakistan which are large and well protected. Not only there are privacy concerns but also there are serious security issues since 9/11.
We tend to forget that most of the high profile terrorists were caught in the urban areas of Pakistan. Why? Because it would be easier to stay put in one place without having to go out. I still strongly accuse the Pakistani security agencies of incompetence of historic level considering that the OBL house was located in a city like Abbottabad but, frankly, even the next-door neighbors did not think too much about their neighbor OBL other than something 'odd'. Why is that so hard to believe?
If there were a lot of people in the know about OBL's whereabout, then, surely, $50 million bounty money is a lot of money in a country where 'they sell their mothers away for money'? So, certainly, not. Some one had to leak the news. Some one had to speak up. Some one had to collect the bounty. But in a country where a soldier or a police officer cannot walk out in open without risking his life from terrorism it is entirely believable that fear and incompetence conjured up the 'reality' which most simpletons are believing here.

Saddam Hussein's government made itself a target when they illegally invaded Kuwait, when they used weapons of mass destruction against their own people (Halabja),

I love American mentally...but if memory serves me correct didn't America supply Saddam with chemical weapons. So if we go by your theory America has made its self a target by Iran because it supplied Saddam Chemical weapons during the 80s.

Does anyone else find it strange that Osama was found with his wives and son(s)?

I would imagine that the world's most wanted man, with 25 million on his head, would have his immediate family tailed 24/7. I can imagine that the US lost track of OBL himself, but they weren't even tracking his sons and wives?

Man Live-Tweeted Attack on Osama Bin Laden

An IT consultant has probably landed himself in the history books by tweeting a portion of the events that led up to Osama Bin Laden's death.

IT consultant Sohaid Athar said that he retreated to Abbottabad Lahora, Pakistan to "take a break from the rat-race" by hiding in the mountains with his laptops. Tucked away in his secluded retreat, he had no clue that his early Monday morning tweets of the noise happening outside his windows would eventually become a part of history books. Now he calls himself the "guy who liveblogged the Osama raid without knowing it," and faces press hounds on a global scale that have come calling at his front door.

"Funny, moving to Abbottabad was part of the 'being safe' strategy," he said in his home near the Jalal Baba Auditorium. "'Safer' is a relative term that has lost its meaning in Pakistan. The day there is uninterrupted electricity in Lahore for a whole month, I will start packing my bags, until then, Abbottabad is home."

Using the Twitter handle ReallyVirtual, Athar started his "eye-witness" account of Osama Bin Laden's take-down around twenty hours ago, reporting that a helicopter was hovering above Abbottabad at 1 a.m. his time-- a rare event according to Athar. After threatening to bring out his giant swatter (which later he apologized for), he heard a huge "window-shaking bang" and hoped it wasn't the start of something nasty.

"All silent after the blast, but a friend heard it 6 km away too... the helicopter is gone too," he said in numerous tweets. "The few people online at this time of the night are saying one of the copters was not Pakistani. Since Taliban (probably) don't have helicopters, and since they're saying it was not 'ours,' so must be a complicated situation."

"The Abbottabad helicopter/UFO was shot down near the Bilal Town area, and there's report of a flash," he added. "People saying it could be a drone. If they have the right to shoot planes flying over the president house, they must have the same instructions for PMA."

Naturally Athar didn't liveblog the entire incident leading the elite "Team 6" Navy SEALs squad to Osama Bin Laden's front yard. But he gives a personal accounting of what happened when the two Cobra helicopters came into his region, one of which had "technical issues" and suffered a "soft crash landing." The original plan was for the Navy SEALs to rappel down into Osama's $1,000,000 compound according to reports.

"And now, a plane flying over Abbottabad," he described as the Pakistan military fighter jets came rushing to the scene looking for the U.S. Helicopters-- one pilot was dead and the other went missing. "A family also died in the crash, and one of the helicopter riders got away and is now being searched for. The army has cordoned off the crash area and is conducting door-to-door search in the surrounding."

The rest of the story is based on what he heard from others and tweeted reports offered by followers. Eventually he revealed that the press started contacting him by email and Skype. His Twitter account, which was opened in May 2007 and collected around 750 followers as of April 30, now has around 48,000 followers and climbing.

So much for getting away from the rat-race and hiding in the mountains.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.

As far as evidence suggest , he never admitted that he was involved in September 11 attacks , never once did he said he directly ordered it

Most of the time , evidence has been indirectly linked to him , a suspected voice belonging to him a , random note or word of mount but no
real direct evidence

Also , the betrayal of Pakistani Army and Nation , is sad , becasue our units sacrificed alot , and share of intelligence would have helped us capture Bin Ladin

But what proof exists that they did not bring Bin ladin in the Navy Seal Helicopters ? just to kill him on Pakistani Soil ?

What does not adds up is they knew of the compound for 5 years !!!

And yet they did nothing to tell Pakistan , go look in that compound but now .. they are saying its Pakistani forces fault ? How ??

If you knew he was in this compound , why did you not tell us sooner ?

What is astonishing is just 3-4 days ago Donald Trump , attacked Obama , on Ladin issue and that was going to change the political race, and then this happened.

Why was out Army/ Gov not given information - specially if the compound was known , I find it disturbing that for 4-5 years they just did nothing .. and waited and waited and waited ... untill moment was right and then embarassed pakistan with raid as they did ...

I mean this could have been done by Pakistani forces, and we probbly would have captured him alive

As per CIA, they didnt tell Pakistan because if they did, elements in Pakistan Army and ISI would have tipped Osama off.

good they got him,why didnt they show his body to the media,in saddam's case their media was after him like mad dogs :what:

Bin Laden Hosts at Compound Were Two Pakistanis

ABBOTTABAD, Pakistan — In his last days, Osama bin Laden was not surrounded by a circle of heavily armed Arab bodyguards or mujahedeen who had fought with him in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union. Rather, he relied on two Pakistanis, one of whom, according to American officials, was his most trusted courier. Both men died with him in the American raid on their compound.

They were known here as Arshad Khan and Tareq Khan, although one police official said that Arshad was not the man’s real name and that he carried a fake identity card. Although American officials have said they were brothers, a neighbor who gave his name only as Qassim said the men were cousins. Qassim lives directly opposite the compound that American commandos stormed just after midnight Monday, and his father worked as a watchman there for several years.

The men were Pashtuns from Charsadda, in the northwest frontier region close to Afghanistan, and moved to Abbottabad seven years ago. It remains unclear how they came to know Bin Laden and whether the men were known to the Pakistani military or intelligence services.

On Tuesday the police removed the cordon around the area where they lived in Bilal Town, a middle-class neighborhood on the edge of this quiet country town, allowing journalists up to the compound.

No one here seemed to have any idea that an important fugitive was living behind the high walls, nor did they know well the two Pakistanis who owned the house. But they said the men were model neighbors who never caused trouble, greeted people courteously on the street and strolled with their children in the fields around their house.

Both men were in their 30s and married, with preschool-age children; Arshad with three and Tareq with four, according to the matriarch of a family living on an alley 100 yards north of the compound. She declined to give her name because she did not want to be identified in a newspaper.

Nine children ages 2 to 12 and three women, one of whom was Arab, were taken from the compound by the Pakistani military after the raid to the military hospital in town, said security officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity according to protocol. The numbers indicated that one woman and two children in the group were part of Bin Laden’s family. A security official said a daughter of Bin Laden was critically wounded and was being cared for at the hospital; American officials said that Bin Laden’s wife was wounded.

“They are all in safe hands and being looked after in accordance with law,” the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. “Some of them needing medical care are under treatment in the best possible facilities. As per policy, they will be handed over to their countries of origin,” the statement said.

Asked if they had fought in the jihad in Afghanistan, Mr. Abassi, the laborer, grimaced. “It was never very clear,” he said. “The only time they ever interacted with us was when they brought the children out to play,” he said. “They never told us why they came here.”

The men bought the land and built the house seven years ago, Mr. Abassi said, adding that he knew the year because his family built their house at the same time. A security official said the house was built in 2004, just beyond the boundaries of the section of town where Kakul Military Academy is located.

Women living nearby said the women of the Khans’ house lived in complete purdah, or separation from men, and did not socialize or visit other homes. They never went outside the compound except by car, accompanied by their husbands and fully veiled. Beside the two wives of the owners, an aunt who lived with them would go out in the car with them, some of the women said.

Did OBL's wives and sons enter Pakistan legally? If so where is their visa trail?
